Item Group Selection

Item Group Selection controls which office-owned Item Groups, and therefore which Items, are available on each vessel.

It is typically used when the office has created a group of office items that are only relevant to certain vessels, for example a specific vessel type, a particular tank system or a supplier catalogue. Instead of every vessel seeing every office item, you select per vessel which Item Groups should be available.

Step 1: Create a new item group

Step 2: Create an office item that is attached to the item group

Step 3: First search for it on the item screen on the unit / vessel – it should be empty

Step 4: Then add it on “Item Group selection” to the unit

Step 5: Search for it again in the unit / vessel
